Agile Project Management with Kanban Training Course

Join this instructor-led live training in Czech Republic to master Agile project management through Kanban and Jira. Participants will learn to implement Kanban workflows, customize Jira for their organization, perform advanced searches, and generate reports to enhance team productivity.

This instructor-led, live training (available online or on-site) is designed for participants at both beginner and advanced levels. The knowledge and tools acquired can be immediately applied to your daily work to enhance workflow efficiency.

Upon completion of this training, participants will be able to:

• Increase the volume of work items completed per unit of time.
• Reduce the time required to finish work items.
• Improve work predictability (providing more accurate responses to 'When will it be completed?').
• Manage flow metrics (throughput, lead time, work in progress, work item age).
• Utilize flow charts (Cumulative Flow Diagram, Lead Time Histogram, Work Aging Chart).
• Apply statistical forecasting methods, such as Monte Carlo simulations and Service Level Agreements.
• Design a Kanban System using the STATIK methodology.
• Understand Little's Law, which describes the nature of value flow.

Designed as a two-day intensive, this course empowers teams within an Agile Release Train (ART) to thrive in an Agile setting by leveraging frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, and XP. Attendees will gain insights into functioning effectively as an Agile Team, managing backlogs, and successfully planning and executing iterations. A key focus is placed on understanding the team’s critical role within the ART, including how to collaborate, plan, execute, and drive continuous improvement alongside neighboring teams.

The program prepares teams to engage fully in Program Increments (PI), addressing both Team-level and Program-level events with a strong emphasis on upcoming PI planning sessions. Upon completing the course, participants will be well-prepared to sit for the certification exam to achieve the SAFe® Practitioner (SP) credential.

• Clarify their team’s role within the Agile Release Train and its contribution to broader organizational goals.
