OpenRules is an open source Business Rules and Decision Management System that allows subject matter experts and software developers to create, test, execute, and maintain enterprise-class decision making applications.

In this instructor-led, live training, participants will learn how to configure their own decision management system using a set of packaged components together with available off-the-shelf software.

By the end of this training, participants will be able to:

- Apply a standard methodology and toolset to create an enterprise-level Business Rules Repository.
- Integrate OpenRules with readily available software such as Excel, Google Docs and Eclipse.

Rule Learner is the principal component of the OpenRules Business Rules Management System. It is used to generate business rules based on existing data.

In this instructor-led, live training (onsite or remote), participants will learn how to use Rule Learner to generate rules by combining machine learning and business rules technologies and techniques.

By the end of this training, participants will be able to:

- Extract patterns and classification from large data sets
- Combine different software components and techniques to generate business rules
- Store, manage and optimize business rules in a rules repository
